UPDATE: Henderson barricade ends after officers find no one in residence

A standoff in a Henderson neighborhood has ended this evening after about 4½ hours with no one in the residence.

Henderson Police Department Officer Rod Pena said there was evidence that a firearm had been discharged in the home. The investigation will continue, but SWAT and other officers are breaking down from the area.

A woman called police just after 2:50 p.m. from a convenience store to report a shooting at a home on the 100 block of Glen Falls Avenue, near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Paradise Hills Drive.

Police entered and searched the home around 7:15 p.m.

Police are investing the possibility of domestic disturbance and battery situations.
