Police investigate stabbing death of man near Jones and Charleston

Police are investigating the stabbing death of a man found Tuesday night in a western Las Vegas neighborhood.

The call came in just after 10 p.m. on the 900 block of Soprano Lane, near South Jones and West Charleston boulevards, according to Officer Aden Ocampo-Gomez of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The victim, who also suffered head trauma, was found in the street. Medical responders arrived and declared the victim deceased.

Detectives received information that two Hispanic male adults were seen jumping a wall into the adjacent complex just prior to the call.

The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
