Police seek suspect accused of chasing clerk with gun after being caught shoplifting

    The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man who they say was caught shoplifting items from a business located near Las Vegas and Nellis Boulevards.

    LVMPD Says the police entered the business at 2 a.m. on December 28 and was followed by a clerk after the clerk caught him shoplifting.

    The suspect retrieved a firearm from the pictured suspect vehicle. The suspect pointed the weapon at the clerk and chased the clerk into the business.

    No one was injured.

    The suspect is described as a White male adult, approximately 30-40 years of age, 5’5”-5”8”, wearing a black beanie with a white design, black t-shirt, black pants and brown work style boots. The suspect vehicle is

    described as a maroon, Ford F-250 truck, lifted with black wheels, black running boards and dark tinted windows.
