Police seek suspect accused of kidnapping, sexual assault of young girl at gunpoint

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department needs your help finding a suspect accused of sexual assault against an underage girl.

On Wednesday, May 23 around 4:35 p.m. LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to an alleyway near the intersection of Palos Verdes Street and East Twain Avenue to investigate a report of a juvenile who had been found injured.

Arriving officers located the juvenile victim in the alleyway and she was transported to Sunrise Hospital.

During the course of the investigation, detectives discovered the victim had been walking alone near the area of Twain and Swenson when a man driving a black BMW approached her and offered a ride. The victim got in the car and the suspect drove around the area for several minutes, and eventually sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint.

The victim was then told to get out of the vehicle in the alleyway near Palos Verdes St. and Twain Ave. where she was found by two passersby and police were summoned.

The suspect was described as a black male adult who appeared to be 20-30 years of age. He was tall, had a slender but muscular build and was bald, and had some hair on his chin.

The vehicle was a black BMW 4-door sedan.
