Protests planned across Nevada Thursday over Sessions ouster
LAS VEGAS (AP) —
Four protests over the forced resignation of U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions are scheduled across Nevada on Thursday evening.
The protests in Reno, Las Vegas, Incline Village and Carson City set for 5 p.m. are part of a national network of protests organized by advocacy group MoveOn.org.
The group says President Donald Trump “just crossed a red line” that violates the independence of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
The events will be held outside the federal courthouse in Las Vegas, the Village Green space in Incline Village, the state Legislature in Carson City and the Reno City Plaza in Reno.
