LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
An attempted break-in turned deadly after a resident shot and killed a man trying to break into his home.
The shooting took place in the 5300 block of E. Craig Road at the Rubix Apartment Complex around 8:50 p.m., Thursday night.
Lt. Dorey Coren with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a citizen reported shooting the man after he was allegedly trying to enter his home.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the man who had died of his injuries.
No other details have been given.
