Retired CCSD teacher arrested after alleged sexual assault of minor
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A recently retired Clark County School District teacher was arrested following a report of a possible sexual assault involving a minor.
57-year-old Darryl Lancaster was booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on Friday, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD).
Lancaster faces charges for eight counts of lewdness with a minor under the age of 14, two counts of luring a minor, and one count producing child pornography.
Lancaster was employed during the 2022-2023 school year as an 8th-grade teacher at Jo Mackey Academy in North Las Vegas.
The NLVMPD and Detective Bureau are continuing the investigation.
The location of where the incidents occurred is still being investigated.
