LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — A federal court ruling issued Thursday will keep the Green Party's presidential candidate off Nevada's November ballot.
On Monday, Nevada's Green Party argued that the secretary of state should accept additional signatures to get Dr. Jill Stein on the ballot.

The Green Party collected almost 8,600 signatures, but 45 percent of those were disqualified – the majority of which were in Clark County – for various reasons.
The party fell 647 signatures short of what was needed.
The party asked the judge to order Secretary of State Barb Cegavske to accept additional signatures, but the judge ruled Cegavske cannot ignore deadlines set by law.
