LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Sammy Hagar got the Halloween weekend off to a rocking start.
The rock and roll star opened his new residency, "Sammy Hagar & Friends," in front of a sold-out crowd at The STRAT in Las Vegas on Friday.
A spokesperson says Hagar was joined by his rock supergroup The Circle, which features original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson.
Stephen Pearcy, lead singer of Ratt, made a surprise appearance and joined the band to sing Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll." The song is part of the setlist in tribute to Bonham's father, original Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
The Circle also performed hit songs like "Finish What Ya Started," "Right Now" and "Mas Tequila."
