A school bus was involved in a hit-and-run collision Friday morning in the east Las Vegas valley, according to authorities.

The collision was reported at Greendale and Ridgedale streets, near Vegas Valley Drive and Lamb Boulevard, just before 6:30 a.m., said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

Officers learned that a bus was about to make a left turn when a maroon-colored vehicle hit the side and drove away.

Police say the kids and adults on board the bus were not injured, and the damage was minor. Another bus picked up the kids to take them to school.
