Seniors receive special visit to celebrate National Animal Therapy Day

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Some seniors in our valley got a visit from a few furry friends to celebrate National Animal Therapy Day.

On Sunday, therapy dogs and a therapy bunny visited seniors at the Henderson Health and Rehab Center in partnership with Black Mountain Lions Club.

Seniors gathered around to share the love amid times that can be troublesome.

The city of Henderson is also signing a proclamation to make Sunday Animal Therapy Day in the city.
