Dispute over loud music leads to deadly shooting, suspect identified.

The man involved in Tuesday's shooting over loud music has been identified as 37-year-old Stavros Stathakos.

Stathokos was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for one count of murder with a deadly weapon.


A dispute over loud music leads to a deadly shooting, Tuesday.

The shooting was reported around 3:13 p.m. at the Kensington Suites on Bonanza Road.

Investigators say police arrived at the scene and found one victim who had a gunshot wound.

After multiple shots were fired from the alleged gunman, police say he handed the gun over to a witness and went to his apartment until police arrived.

Once police arrived, the gunman was taken into custody without incident.

The victim was taken to UMC where they died. The coroner has not released their identity.

Police don't believe the victim lived at the Kensington Suites but knows the people who live there.
