The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the U.S. Highway 95 northbound to Interstate 15 northbound ramp in downtown Las Vegas from 10 p.m., April 24, until 5 a.m., April 25.

The temporary closure is needed for Active Traffic Management sign installation as part of “The Main Event,” the third and final phase of work for Project Neon’s nearly $1 billion 4-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue. Project Neon is 63 percent complete, with anticipated completion in the summer of 2019. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is the design-build general contractor, with Atkins North America as lead designer.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible.
