Around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, the Las Vegas fire Department responded to a shed fire behind a house near Nellis Boulevard and Washington Avenue.

The fully involved fire was soon knocked down, and neighbors advised crews on scene that squatters had been using the shed.

The fire was confirmed out just before 9:30 p.m., though no one was found in or near the shed.

This incident comes just over a month after squatters caused a fire inside a vacant motel in downtown.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shed fire, and flames were contained to the shed.
