Suspects on the loose after Summerlin Apple store robbery

On one AT&T forum, our Sinclair sister station in West Palm Beach, Fla. learned people claim scammers are selling working phones, then reporting them stolen to get another phone through insurance. (KSNV file)

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a robbery at an Apple store in Summerlin.

The theft happened at around 11:30 a.m on Tuesday.

LVMPD tells News 3 two suspects grabbed a number of display items off of shelves and counters.

It is unclear to investigators how many phones the suspects took or the total value of the merchandise.

No customers or employees were hurt.

Suspects are still on the loose.
