Taco cart owner shot after attempting to stop robbery near Texas Station

A taco cart owner tried to step in after a group of juveniles tried to rob one of the cart's workers on Sunday. The confrontation ended with the owner in the hospital with a bullet wound.

The incident took place on Allen Lane, a residential road located near Texas Station.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects approached the female employee at the taco cart at 9 p.m. Sunday. The suspects attempted to take items from her, which prompted the owner to come to the woman's defense.

One of the suspects then opened fire at the owner, hitting him in the thigh.
