The saying goes, If you build it, they will come.

The Raiders franchise hopes a new virtual experience will get you excited about heading out to the future stadium in Las Vegas.

Construction on the stadium is expected to be completed in 2020.

Rudy Rodriguez considers the store a perfect place to stop on his Las Vegas vacation.

Rodriguez came to town to watch the Super Bowl and now he’s checking out Raiders memorabilia.

"This is really neat. Part of their history I've never got this close to,” explained Rudy Rodriguez.

The showroom at Town Square showcases Super Bowl rings and trophies.

There is also an up-close look at what’s to come for the team.

That includes renderings of the team’s new home, a few miles away, on Russell Road.

Soon, people will be able to see the view from their season tickets.

"It's fantastic. It's fantastic,” said Rodriguez.

Diehard fan Miguel Moreno said he likes what he sees.

"They don't need fans based in Las Vegas. I think fans from everywhere will come to Las Vegas for the Raiders games,” said Miguel Moreno.

"Looks like it's gonna be the best stadium out there,” he continued.

At the site of the new stadium, workers were busy Monday afternoon moving dirt.

In April, they will pour concrete. The stadium is slated to be completed in July 2020.

Back inside the Town Square showroom, there is a countdown to completion on a big screen.

"29 Months, 25 days, 20 hours, 30 minutes and 7 seconds,” said Rodriguez with a laugh.

It's a day that can’t come soon enough for Rodriguez.

"It's gonna be more or less a weekend trip,” noted Rodriguez. "We’re going to place our order in advance for tickets, rooms, the whole package."
