Man dies after three people shot near Mountain Vista, Tropicana


UPDATE, July 9 | The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed one of the victim's of the shooting died over the weekend.

Miguel Gonzalez-Campos, 32, died on Saturday, July 7, from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the coroner's office. His death has been officially ruled a homicide.

ORIGINAL | Three people are in the hospital after being shot near Mountain Vista Street and Tropicana Avenue.

The shooting took place around 10:01 p.m. in the 5000 block of Mountain Vista Street, Thursday night.

When police arrived at the scene, they found three victims with gunshot wounds.

All three victims were transported to the hospital. Two victims suffer from life-threatening injuries but are stable. The third victim's condition is unknown at this time.

Police say the suspects left the area in a white Sedan and are still outstanding.

At this time, Mountain Vista Street is shut down between Tropicana Avenue and Livermore Avenue. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
