SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (KRNV/KRXI) -- The Bureau of Land Management says the Hungry Fire in Spanish Springs near Fancy Dance Drive is contained at 305-acres.

Officials with the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony stated that the fire was burning northeast of Hungry Valley.

According to BLM, crews will focus efforts on suppression repair of dozer line on Thursday. The cause is under investigation.

Voluntary evacuations were initially issued from Campo Rico to Winnemucca Ranch Rd. but have since been lifted.

TMFPD reports that there is no immediate threat to the nearly 600 structures in the area, however, fire crews are mobilizing to provide structure protection in the Pebble Creek community as a precaution.

According to TMFPD Public Information Officer Adam Mayberry, their biggest concern was the wind pushing the fire north over the mountain away from the homes on tribal land.
