LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The UNLV School of Medicine’s clinical arm will be conducting curbside testing for COVID-119 beginning on Tuesday, March 24.
There are, however, restrictions for those seeking to get tested.
First, the testing is by appointment only and will be only be given to those who meet the guidelines put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The testing will take place in the parking area outside of UNLV Medicine, located at 1125 Shadow Lane. Patients should arrive at their appointment time and expect to be directed to a drive-up testing station.

There a medical professional will administer the nasal swab test while the patient stays in the vehicle.
There will be no out-of-pocket costs, and the patient can expect to receive test results in five to seven days.
The results, both positive and negative, will be reported to the Southern Nevada Health District.
The organization only anticipates providing these tests Monday through Friday for the next two weeks or at least until its supply of tests runs out.
