LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas community is honoring the death of the first magician to perform on the Strip.
Gloria Dea was set to be honored at UNLV for her contributions to the performing arts industry.
She will now be honored in memoriam on Tuesday, March 21 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the annual College of Fine Arts Hall of Fame gala celebration.

She joins past inductees and Las Vegas headliners like Penn and Teller, Lance Burton, and more.
The Hall of Fame was founded in 2003 to honor those who have made a significant impact on the fine arts.
