U.S. 95 northbound to southbound I-15 ramp closure rescheduled due to rain

NDOT will close the northbound U.S. 95 ramp to southbound Interstate 15 on Thursday, Jan. 18, in downtown Las Vegas.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is rescheduling the ramp closure connecting northbound U.S. Highway 95 to southbound Interstate 15 to Thursday, Jan. 17.

The temporary closure take place from 10:00 p.m. Thursday to 4:00 a.m. Friday and is a part of Project Neon.

Work will be done on the 81-foot-high and 2,606-foot-long High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) flyover bridge.

Project Neon, beginning in 2016, is the almost $1 billion four-mile long widening of I-15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.

According to NDOT, the project is 92 percent finished and is schedule for substantial completion this summer.

Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
