Vegas Golden Knights hockey team serve meals at Catholic Charities

The Vegas Golden Knights gave back to the community on Monday by helping serve free meals.

The Golden Knights helped more than a thousand of Southern Nevada's most vulnerable men, women and children enjoy a feast at Catholic Charities near Owens and Main Street.

Players say while the team recognition has changed a lot, the value in serving the community at events like this, stays the same.

"I took a couple of pics with the one lady,” said Golden Knights center Nick Suzuki. β€œIt's just great to help them out and bring them food -- and they were having a lot of fun with it just like us."
