Hockey shoot-out sends woman to Stanley Cup Final

A Vegas Golden Knights fan will go to her very first game for free thanks to a little friendly competition at City National Arena.

102.7 The Coyote’s Jeff and Amiee,brought 12 people onto the ice Thursday morning. for a shoot-out from center ice to get the tickets to Thursday's Stanley Cup Final Game 5.

The task wasn’t so easy. The contestants say they had to get the puck into a small slot right in the middle of net. JJ Staudeinger was the only one to pull it off.

"I am beyond excited, I am super thrilled, like it doesn’t seem real 'cause I've never played hockey before. So I was like, okay, what are the chances," Staudeinger said.

She won two tickets and will be taking her husband as her plus-one.
