LAS VEGAS (KSNV) - Police have released surveillance video showing a man fire a gun three times during an apparent dispute, ultimately striking a nearby 7-year-old Wednesday.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police on Thursday released the video, which shows two men identified as suspects outside a store.

One of the men can be seen yelling at someone out of frame before firing three times, while the other man goes into the store.

The man with the gun is then seen running onto a sidewalk and out of view.

Police say the two men were arguing with people in a car, with the 7-year-old inside as well. The child was taken to a hospital, and police say the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Both men were last seen running south on Spencer Street, then east toward an apartment complex.

Alfred Flores says he heard the shots. "I was sitting down in the living room watching TV and all of a sudden I heard a thump. It sounded like a gunshot."

Flores tells us he heard the shots from his apartment. He remembers fearing he might be hit.

"My wife told me to get inside and close the door," he said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Central Area Command at (702) 828-8639 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
