LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Sixty volunteers got together Sunday to make our Las Vegas area trails a little cleaner.
Locals helped picked up trash, garden and beautify Craig Ranch Regional Park and Lower Las Vegas Wash Trail.
The event was organized by the World Mission Society Church of God and Get Outdoors Nevada.

It's all part of their shared mission of environmental preservation.
"There's a lot of native pollinators that come to this area and in order to help the ecosystem we wanted to help out with the weeding and the gardening so that we can help promote the environment," said Sky Lovelace, one of the volunteers.
Volunteers say they also wanted to keep the parks and trails clean because more locals are coming out as pandemic restrictions loosen.
