Plows will be working on the road.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution while traveling.
UPDATE as of 7:52 P.M. | State Route 160 is closed in both directions due to heavy snowfall.
According to NHP, there are multiple vehicles off the roadway.
Nevada Department of Transportation is plowing at this time, however, it is unknown when and if SR 160 will reopen.

A significant winter storm will push through the area Wednesday night and Thursday.
A wintry mix is expected Wednesday evening with rain showers in the valley turning to snow around midnight. Overnight temps will be in the low to mid 30s in Las Vegas.
Chances of snow showers will continue overnight with snow more likely Thursday morning. As temperatures warm, snow showers will turn to rain in the afternoon.
The heaviest snow will fall in northwest Arizona 12"-18" above 4,000 ft in Mohave County.
A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the Spring Mountains, Sheep Mountain Range, and Lincoln County through Friday morning. Around 8" to 12" of snow is possible in our local mountains with 6" to 8" in parts of Lincoln County with heavier snow falling along the passes.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for most of Clark County including the Las Vegas valley for possible snowfall. Amounts will be anywhere from less than an inch in the central valley up to 3" possible on the west side of the valley near the mountains.
Red Rock may see 3" to 4" with up to 6" on some of the higher areas.
The Clark County School District could call for a potential "Snow Day" if the weather is too bad. They sent out a tweet saying they would make the call on Thursday morning at 5 a.m.

High temperatures on Thursday will be in the low 40s in Las Vegas. The storm will start to clear out of the area Thursday night. Winds will pick up briefly Friday morning as the storm exits the region, followed by warmer weather over the weekend and next week.
We will see mostly sunny skies over the weekend with highs in the low to mid 50s. Temperatures will really start to crank up next week with afternoon highs soaring to the low 60s.
