WEDNESDAY'S CHILD | Meet Victoria. 'I want to be loved, I deserve it'


Picture a big family around a table.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. And good food. Italian food. The experience of family around a table is a reality for a lot of us.

But for my friend Victoria, it's been table for one for far too long.

15-year-old Victoria is this week's Wednesday's Child looking for a forever home, hoping you'll make room for her at your table.

This young lady is a dynamo.

Behind that laugh is an optimism and a wisdom born of years of struggle.

On this day victoria unfolds a beautifully wrapped letter and lets her words paint a picture.

"Home is a place of love where family and friends come together and bond together", she writes.

It's hard to imagine this "A" student who loves Disneyland and food as anything but sincere.

She wants a family. She wants her own room.

"I've had five years in this foster care system. I want you to know me. I want you to find the good in me. I want your positivity. I want your love. I want to be loved. I deserve it. I do", she said.

Victoria deserves love and so does that person out there watching who wants more love in their life.

You don't have to be ready. You just have to be willing.
