HOHENWALD, Tenn. (WZTV) - A massive shelf cloud over Hohenwald was heavily documented Monday night by Fox 17 viewers.

Viewer Tommy Dean was able to capture video of the cloud as it passed through Hohenwald and Hampshire. The National Weather Service has since confirmed that an EF-1 tornado with winds up to 95 mph touched down in the area.

"Fox 17 This Morning" meteorologist Craig Edwards said this is what was seen on radar to prompt a tornado warning (see below). The curvature represents rotation inside the storm and any spin on a storm like that would represent a tornado.

Chief Meteorologist Katy Morgan tracked the tornado warning throughout the evening on Monday.
