Las Vegas Lowdown: Big sports weekend in Vegas and more

We know that Las Vegas is known for its nightlife and entertainment, but this weekend is one of the busiest weekends for our city and it also includes a ton of sports.

I’m mixing things up this week and going to give you the lowdown of a little bit of everything.

First up--the Vegas Golden Knights play Friday night against the Ottawa Senators. The puck drops at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.

Next up--the USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament returns to Sam Boyd Stadium Friday through Sunday.

There’s a fan festival and 16 international teams.

Then there’s a NASCAR tripleheader this weekend out at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It’s the Monster Energy cup series, the Xfinity series and the Camping World Truck series.

After that, UFC 222 is bringing people to the ring on Saturday at T-Mobile arena. That starts at 5 p-m.

If sports aren’t your thing, there’s plenty of entertainment as well

Tim Allen is performing at the Mirage on Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.

Demi Lovato is performing on saturday at the MGM Grand Arena at 7 p.m.

If you’re a fan of Uncle Kracker you can see him at The Orleans on Saturday at 8 p.m.

If you check out any of these events over the weekend take a picture and use #LVLowdown.

Have a great weekend!
