Las Vegas Lowdown | Ethel M Cactus Garden, Tony Bennett, and Aviation Nation air show

Las Vegas Lowdown (KSNV)

Check out what's going on in the Las Vegas Valley in this week's edition of the Las Vegas Lowdown.

The lighting of the cactus garden at Ethel M's is a tradition -- but now they're adding something new to the holiday display!

With Ethel M's very own ice skating rink, guests can now skate just steps from the holiday cactus lights and Santa in the all-new Winter Wonderland Pavilion.

Visitors will also be able to take photos with Santa Claus, receive complimentary chocolate samples, enter for raffles, and more.

The holiday cactus lights will run from 5-10 p.m. Nov. 7 through Jan. 1. The ice skating rink will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 7 through Jan. 1.

Ice skating prices range from $10-20 per person per hour, varying by time and day.

Each ticket comes with a complimentary cup of Ethel M Chocolate's signature Double Hot Chocolate.

Ethel M Chocolates is located at 2 Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson.

Held Nov. 11 and 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, attendees will get to experience exciting aerial acts, static displays from the past and present, and get a chance to meet the Airmen who carry out the Nellis mission.

Nellis' Airmen are excited for the chance to say "thank you" to the community for the support given each and every day for their mission, the U.S. Air Force "Breaking Barriers since 1947."

The celebration will include the Air Force's 70th birthday and will be held at Nellis Air Force Base, located near the intersection of Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard.
