This year's NHL Western Conference Final features two teams that boast monumental seasons.

The Vegas Golden Knights are the third team in NHL history to win two playoff series in their inaugural season.

They face the Winnipeg Jets, who on Thursday night, earned the franchise's first berth to the Western Conference Final with a 5-1 win over Nashville in a deciding game seven.

Against Winnipeg in the regular season, Vegas won two games and lost one game.

In the Golden Knights' 5-2 win over Winnipeg at home on November 10, 2017, backup goaltender Maxime Lagace was in net.

Lagace was also between the pipes when Vegas lost 7-4 to Winnipeg on the road December 1, 2017.

The last time the Golden Knights and Jets played each other, Vegas won 3-2 in overtime on the road February 1, 2018.

Starter Marc-Andre Fleury was in net for that game.
