Full Sportscast: Hauala out injured, Schmidt returns to practice, Carr saddened by trades
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
The Golden Knights Wednesday was better than many anticipated it would be. Gerard Gallant announced Erik Haula would miss at least the next three games before being re-evaluated when the team returns to Vegas. The also welcomed back team heartbeat Nate Schmidt back to practice. Schmidt, who is still serving his 20-game suspension was back at practice after spending the beginning of the season in Vienna, Austria practicing with the Vienna Capitals.
Raiders quarterback Derek Carr admitted that this season has been hard with the departures of many of his friends. Carr added it’s been difficult for his entire career but this season has been a bit more difficult because Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper were guys he interacted with regularly.
While the Raiders and Golden Knights are having a tough season, Las Vegas Bryce Harper is having a GREAT off season. Good enough that the 26-year old Harper could turn down a 10-year $300M contract offer from the Washington Nationals to test the free agent market.
