The Golden Knights lost their fourth straight game Saturday, falling 3-1 when visiting the Florida Panthers, Vegas head coach Gerard Gallant's former team.

Four straight losses is a franchise record for the Vegas NHL team, now in its second season.

The Las Vegas Lights Football Club, also in its second season, played its first preseason game Saturday at Cashman Field.

The minor league soccer team hosted Major League Soccer's Toronto FC and upset Toronto 5-1.

It marked former U.S. Men's National team great Eric Wynalda's first game as the Lights' head coach.

The UNLV Men's Basketball team lost its third straight game Saturday, losing 82-65 at Utah State.
