Mayweather will fight a kick boxer in NYE boxing exhibition match in Japan
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
Undefeated, former five-division world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. isn't exactly coming out of retirement.
On New Year's Eve in Japan, he will fight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match.
The match will be only boxing and its duration will be three, three-minute rounds.
The result of the match will not impact either fighter's record.
News 3's Amber Dixon asked the Las Vegas boxer why he doesn't allow Nasukawa to kickbox in their match.
He answered that and more at his boxing club Thursday.
