Operation Football: October 14, 2016

Operation Football Findlay FORD (KSNV)

With just three weeks left in the regular season for many teams in the valley, there are some big games that would separate the contenders from the pretenders.

At Eldorado High School, the Sun Devils hoped to knock off Las Vegas and set up a potential league championship game with Canyon Springs, who have the week off.

In the Southwest, the last three division one unbeaten teams left all reside in the conference and all had home games. Bishop Gorman would host Clark, Durango took on Boulder City and Sierra Vista would host Desert Oasis, all hoping to keep an unblemished record.

In our Papa John’s Game of the Week, the Basic Wolves host Green Valley tonight in the Henderson Bowl as the Wolves and Liberty Patriots could be on a collision course to battle for the South East title on Oct. 27. Plus, in a big rivalry game, Agassi Prep hit the road for a game against The Meadows. Valley and Rancho also battle as the Rams are still looking for their first win.
