Operation Football: October 7, 2016

Operation Football, brought to you by Findlay Ford (KSNV)

Operation Football’s Game of the Week comes out of the northeast division.

The battle of two big Northwest rivals had Arbor View taking traveling to Centennial to face the Bulldogs , as the Aggies were trying to stay with unbeaten Legacy who had to make a trip to Faith Lutheran.

Randall Cunningham’s Silverado Skyhawks met Green Valley as both were looking for their first conference win, and Mojave and Western met tonight as one team would get their first win of the season.

The 4-1 Las Vegas Wildcats welcome the 5-1 Canyon Springs Pioneers.

The Wildcats’ only loss was to Shadow Ridge a few weeks ago.

Their star player is running back Elijah Hicks who had 33 carries for 178 yards and two scores in a win against Chaparral last week.

The Pioneers are undefeated in Nevada.

Their only loss was to a California school in Week Three, but if you throw that game out, they are averaging 32 points a game, and their quarterback tandem of Diamante Burton and Dexter Hammond is tough to stop.
