The Vegas Golden Knights' Cody Eakin will be skating with people Friday to benefit a local non-profit that helps kids in the community.

A spokesperson says The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas and Red Shoe Society will host an open skate with Eakin on Friday, Dec. 21,

The skate will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. at City National Arena, with skate rentals and ice time included with a $10 donation.

The skate would be followed by a program at MacKenzie River Pizza Grill and Pub inside the arena.

Twenty percent of proceeds from food and drinks will benefit the RMHC, which supports programs for the health, education and well-being of children in the community.
