I am grateful to call Las Vegas home! The news business has taken me all across the country. I have worked in Los Angeles, San Diego and all across Texas.
It has been a long career where I have lucked out in covering some of the biggest stories. Some of my memorable stories include the destruction left behind by "Hurricane Katrina," the Oprah Winfrey beef safety trial in Amarillo, and the 2000 Republican and Democratic national conventions.
Many of the awards I have won have centered around the viciousness of Mexican drug cartels. I have picked up a National Edward R. Murrow, Emmy, Associated Press, and L.A. Golden Mike awards.
My college days consisted of walking through a foot of snow in Ann Arbor, Mich. I will always be a proud Wolverine.
I am honored to be part of this great community.
