Evan Schreiber

News Anchor/Live Desk

Evan Schreiber joined KSNV in June 2023 as the Live Desk Anchor for News 3 Today.

Evan comes to Las Vegas from Portland, Oregon, after spending four years innovating and leading the breaking news Live Desk coverage on KATU's Emmy Award-winning morning show team.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, his TV news broadcasting career started with on-air work as an Anchor and Reporter in Eureka, California, and Chico-Redding, California, before moving to the desert of Tucson, Arizona, and the Rose City of Portland.

In Portland, Evan developed and produced KATU's Recover Northwest franchise coverage, focused on substance use disorders and recovery solutions in the Pacific Northwest. His reporting was recognized with honors by multiple recovery groups and organizations for his focused storytelling that shed light on addiction issues amid Oregon's rollout of Measure 110, the voter-approved law that decriminalized possession of small amounts of hard drugs while opening more money for addiction treatment.

Evan lives every day to find people and tell their stories as a Reporter and Anchor. The opportunity to get out in the greater Las Vegas community and meet wonderful people is why Evan does what he does. There are so many easy ways for you to contact Evan and share your story! Emailing him at emschreiber@sbgtv.com is one option. Social media is another. Or you could always come up to him on the street and say, “HELLO!”

Evan is a dad to two of the most adorable young children and husband to the most beautiful wife. He says both of those opinions are not up for negotiation. When Evan is not working, he likes to 'play tourist’ around Las Vegas with his family and dog by visiting parks, going on hikes, taking in shows, and eating delicious food (in no particular order).

Evan is an amateur golfer and a professional fan of anything with a ball, puck, bat, stick, racket, club, net, or goalpost, who is jumping full bore onto the Golden Knights, Raiders, and Aces bandwagons.
