Upgraded ramps connecting to the Spaghetti Bowl in Las Vegas will open Sunday, Jan. 20, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The ramp between southbound U.S. 95 and northbound I-15 has been closed since August 2017 so it could be repaved, widened and slightly reconfigured, NDOT said in a press release.

The on-ramps for MLK Boulevard to both north and southbound I-15 and southbound U.S. 95 will also be opening at 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

Those ramps were closed to eliminate a loop ramp that created confusion, in addition to other improvements, according to NDOT.

Construction on the ramps was part of Project Neon, the widening project for Interstate 15 from the Spaghetti Bowl to Sahara Avenue. The project remains on track for substantial completion this summer, said NDOT.
